EU-Asia Cooperation Event
East Midlands businesses are invited to take the opportunity to discover the support available to explore the China and India markets.A consortium of East Midland’s business support and economic development organisations are holding a flagship EU-Asia cooperation event focusing on EU funding opportunities available, in particular with China and India.
The event will focus primarily on two European Commission programmes:
- Asia Invest - Aiming to support business partnerships and promote the internationalisation of EU and Asian SME’s, by assisting direct business co-operation between the EU and Asia at a regional level.
- International cooperation under the Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7)
Senior representatives from the European Commission, UK Permanent Representation, the Chinese and Indian Embassies and East Midland’s business support organisations will be there to share their knowledge and experiences with the Region’s businesses.Date: Friday 26th January 2007
