Learning Through Work
Following on from our very successful work with employers over the last few years, the
award winning Learning Through Work team at the University of Derby has been awarded European Social Funding to work with small and medium sized enterprises to help identify and develop the higher level skills needed to support your organisation’s growth and competitiveness.
We would like to invite you to breakfast on Friday 2nd March, from 0800am to 1000am. This will be held in room S302, South Tower at our main Kedleston Road Campus, Derby.
Why come? Learning Through Work is a unique programme which offers the opportunity to learn in the workplace, which in turn, supports your organisation to grow and become more competitive.
If you would like to:
- Identify and develop your business needs
- Improve your business performance by developing your employees’ skills to match your business needs
- Talk to us about what you want your business to achieve and any issues you might face in reaching those goals
- Find out how you can design learning and development programmes to suit your business and build these into higher level qualifications for you or your staff with expert help and support
This event is for you. We will have one of the employees who is undertaking a Learning Through Work programme at hand during the breakfast meeting to give you a “real” view of her experiences.
The meeting will run from 8am to 10am at the University of Derby, room S302 with an agenda as follows:
- 8:00-8:30am Buffet style breakfast
- 8:30-9:00am LTW/ESF Presentation
