Achievements

During the past three years, MEEM and its partners have developed a joint approach and determination to understand and help minority businesses in the East Midlands.  The board of directors is united in committing itself to a strong partnership that will be supported by rigorous standards of corporate governance and accountability.  MEEM has encouraged businesses and others to join it in a commitment to work together as a partnership to influence the development of policy, as a route to helping new and existing minority businesses to achieve their aspirations.  This approach has already had a positive impact on ethnicity data capture; supplier diversity and procurement; and access to finance.
