Access to Finance 

All major research surveys carried out so far by MEEM found that access to finance was a major concern to their growth. Together with MEEM partners, local High street banks, financial support institutions and major research organisations, MEEM is:

• Co-ordinating series of workshops to find ways of removing barriers on access to finance
• Developing regional project to ease access to finance for EMBs
• Analysing research on access to finance with a view to influencing policy making
• Working with academic institutions to explore the possibilities of developing culturally appropriate finance  
• Working closely with FEBA to obtain financial support from Phoenix fund
