International Trade
MEEM is working in close partnership with UK Trade & Investment in ensuring minority businesses take advantages of opportunities of growing their markets through international trade. Some of the initiatives included:
- Training the regions minority business advisers on UKTI’s Passport to Export scheme
- Trade Missions to Germany and Hungary
- A large International Business Dinner
There is a wealth of resource and talent within the minority communities throughout the UK. It is essential we work with the public and private sectors to nurture this and ensure all these communities play a leading role in the prosperity of the United Kingdom.
