17th December deadline looming for £100,000 business competition

humanwSmall and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) across the East Midlands have until 17th December to enter a business competition if they are to be in with a chance of winning £10,000 cash.

The ANUBIS competition is open to SMEs that can demonstrate how they would benefit from receiving the funding for a technology project. Ten companies will be in the running for £10,000 each. 

The £100,000 pot of cash has been allocated through the East Midlands Development Agency (emda) and European Regional Development Fund.EMNET, the company managing the ANUBIS competition, is keen to receive applications from a cross section of industries ranging from traditional industries such as textiles, print, construction and agriculture, to those in newer sectors such as digital media and bio-science.

Tim Miller, managing director of EMNET, said: “This competition aims to help SMEs become more competitive.  Previous winners of ANUBIS have gone on to enjoy commercial success and we want to hear from innovative and entrepreneurial companies who want to turn a technology idea into reality with our help.”
