Notts firms could reduce their operational costs by as much as £18,000 per year by taking advantage of free resource efficiency advice says Envirowise, the Government-funded programme, following its annual impact report.

The report also says that awareness of Envirowise is on the rise and that total savings per company in the UK are increasing.

Catherine Wale, Envirowise regional manager for the East Midlands, said: "With environmental issues now dominating the business agenda, it is good to see that companies are using the free advice and information available to take action on resource efficiency.


"The potential for valuable cost and time savings should be an incentive for others to do the same."
